We strive to ensure productive, safe operations, based on a prevention culture to protect life and health.
The Occupational Health Program is aimed at ensuring the individual and collective health of workers. This comprehensive, interdisciplinary plan is implemented through annual activities and programs focusing on individual and epidemiological screening, including:
Periodic preventive medical screening for early detection of medical conditions and detection of risk factors
Nutrition programs to prevent and control chronic-degenerative diseases; audits of food and beverage quality in Company cafeterias; counseling programs to reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, among others
Epidemiological screening programs to prevent and control occupational illnesses and industry-specific medical conditions, such as hearing loss, silicosis and high lead levels in the blood, among others
Gynecological studies for prevention and detection of cervical and breast cancer
